Yelp Segues into Spain

“Yelp es una forma fácil de encontrar y hablar sobre fantásticos negocios locales.” As this sentence suggests, Yelp has launched in Espana.

The emphasis for the time being will apparently be on Madrid and Barcelona, according to the press release:

While available throughout Spain, Yelp will focus its initial community efforts on Madrid and Barcelona — an approach that has served the company and its other markets well in the past. Yelp saw over 100% growth in non-US cities in 2010 and has added local team members in cities including Dublin, Paris, Berlin, Cologne, Munich, Vienna, Leeds, Manchester, Glasgow, Amsterdam and now Madrid.

Yelp is now in six countries in Europe and a total of nine overall.

Do you think/know they will expand eastwards in the near future (Eastern Europe/Asia)?
