YPG Aims New Brand Campaign at SMBs

Yellow Pages Group is launching a new ad campaign to “raise awareness about the fact it is Canada‚Äôs number one media Internet company, now offering a wide array of online solutions and exposure on mobile devices, in addition to its well-known print directory products.”

It’s the latest in a series of fairly aggressive moves by YPG to raise its profile among consumers, developers and businesses alike. Recently the company released an API and there’s been lots of activity for the company in the consumer market with acquisitions and the launch of daily deals in the past few months.

YPG is in a unique position vs. its American counterparts because it’s the only YP publisher in the country, though it competes with Google, Yelp, Yahoo, Facebook and other local information sources.
