Clickable Partners with eBay’s ProStores for SEM Services

SEM + Facebook marketing platform Clickable has a high profile deal with Amex to provide marketing services to Amex SMB customers. The company just announced another potentially high-impact deal with eBay’s e-commerce platform for SMBs, ProStores:

Clickable announced today that ProStores, an eBay company, introduced Clickable’s online advertising solutions to its merchants. ProStores (www.prostores.com) is a full-featured customizable eCommerce solution for small- and medium-size businesses. Clickable (www.clickable.com) provides complete, sophisticated solutions that make it simple for merchants to advertise and get found across Google, Yahoo, Bing and Facebook.

With over 500 million consumers on Facebook, and the majority of consumers beginning their online shopping with a search engine, online advertising is a critical channel for eCommerce merchants to reach shoppers. However, running an effective online advertising campaign is complex, time-consuming and more competitive than ever before. The combination of Clickable’s award-winning Pro Tool and Expert Team provides a powerful solution to help eCommerce merchants maximize shopper reach and drive profitability.

It’s not clear to me how widely adopted ProStores is . . . although you might expect it to be given its eBay association. Does anyone know what ProStore’s numbers are?

At SMX East Amex had a big presence with a “powered by Clickable” mention but Clickable really wasn’t there. I found that curious and interesting that Amex was the brand that took the lead at a search-insiders conference.
